Niagara-on-the-Lake, winner of the Prettiest Town in Canada Award, was settled at the close of the American Revolution by Loyalists coming to Upper Canada. Many of the attractions in the town include visits and fun activities at the historic sites.
Take in an afternoon along the beautiful flower lined streets and browse through the many unique boutiques, art galleries and specialty shops.
With huge parks and lakeside trails, local orchards and farm stands, world-renowned wineries and bike tours, there is plenty to do outdoors as well.
Niagara Falls, a natural wonder of the world, is a 15 minute drive along the splendid Niagara Parkway.
Niagara-on-the-Lake is located approximately 1½ hours from Toronto and 15 minutes from the U.S. border.
